While not at the bottom of the academic totem poll, graduate students are close. Graduate students have to balance classes, finding a research topic, and other new found freedoms. As an important part of the academic pipeline, this group of women has new challenges to face. This set of resources helps to strengthen and provide recommendations.

The initial motivation for this report was a desire specifically to assess the climate for women and underrepresented minorities in doctoral programs at the University of Michigan.
