The overall objective of this IT Start proposal is to gather information that will enable us to devise a comprehensive plan to support and empower the growing number of female STEM faculty at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Our goal is to develop an effective plan for institutional transformation that is data-driven, institution specific, and broadly sustainable.
This page is dedicated to sharing and tracking pertinent climate-related data as they are gathered by ID-STEM, and to sharing access to important related policy. We will also intermittently post new data as they are collected through ID-STEM Assessment Activities.

A climate survey was conducted by the Advance team at Cal Poly during the spring quarter of 2009. The response rate to this survey was 67%. A logistic regression analysis was performed to identify statistical significance of the responses. The methodology used and some of the findings are summarized in this poster.
The Women Faculty Mentoring Program was proposed by the Status of Women Committee and is funded by the office of the Provost. Participation in the mentoring program is voluntary. Mentoring pairs consist of individuals from the same college but different departments.
